*Elite Travels llc Policy on Station Baggage Fees and Travel Conditions*
1. *Station Baggage Fees*: Baggage fees are not included in ticket prices and are determined by individual Train . Please contact the Station directly for information on their baggage policies and associated costs.
2. *Travel Documentation*: All traveler must have the necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, or advanced parole, based on their destination. It is the responsibility of the traveler to check entry requirements and secure the appropriate documentation well in advance of their travel date. Elite Travels llc is not liable for advising on specific documentation requirements.
3. *Cancellations and Exchanges*: Cancellations or exchange requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Refunds or exchanges are subject to Station fare rules, including penalties, fare differences, and Elite Travel’s modification/refund costs. Elite Travels llc does not control Station-imposed penalties related to ticket modifications or cancellations.
4. *No-Show Policy*: Tickets become void if the traveler fails to appear at the check-in desk or cancels the reservation within the Station’s stipulated timeframe (generally 2–4 hours prior to departure). Unused or no-show tickets are non-refundable.
5. *Last-Minute Changes*: For changes within four hours of departure, contact the Station directly for assistance. Train impose fees for last-minute changes, which are not covered by Elite Travels.
6. *Multi-Station Bookings*: If multiple Train are involved, the strictest fare rules will apply to the entire booking.
7. *Alternate Stations*: If a less expensive fare is available from a nearby Station (within 60 miles of your preferred Station), it will be presented. Travelers are responsible for verifying all Station choices.
8. *Special Requests (Seats, Meals, etc.)*: Requests for specific seats, meals, frequent train miles, and other special accommodations are not guaranteed. Please confirm these directly with the Station.
9. *Infant Travelers and Unaccompanied Minors*: Policies for unaccompanied minors vary by Station, including fees and Train restrictions. Contact the Station directly for detailed requirements and additional fees.
10. *Modifications to Purchased Train s*:
– *Basic Economy Tickets*: No refunds or exchanges.
– *Local Tickets*: Cancellation fees start at $50, with change fees ranging from $100–$200 plus fare differences.
– *International Tickets*: Cancellation fees start at $75, with change fees ranging from $150–$450 plus fare differences.
11. *24-Hour Cancellation Policy*: Cancellations within 24 hours of booking incur a fee ($50 domestic, $75 international). Travel Assist plan subscribers can cancel or modify within 24 hours without standard fees.
12. *Refunds and Credit Policies*:
– Partially used and no-show tickets are non-refundable.
– Unused domestic tickets may receive credit if canceled two hours before departure.
– Most international tickets are non-refundable; credit may be available per Station rules.
13. *Train Cancellations and Schedule Changes*: Train may alter or cancel Train s due to various reasons. Passengers should confirm Train status with the Station 24–72 hours before departure. Elite Travel llc is not liable for such changes but will assist in finding alternative options per Station policies.
